📅 Saturday, July 25, 2026 · 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Our Center, Suite 102 — 4379 Ridgewood Center Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192

Casa BruMar Foundation and The Action Imperative are partnering to deliver a resume workshop designed for LGBTQIA+ community members at every stage of their career journey. Whether you’re building a resume for the first time or refreshing an outdated one, this session provides a supportive, empowering space to translate lived experience, strengths, and aspirations into a clear, professional document.

Taught by Nicki Scolaro Bland, founder and executive of The Action Imperative, the workshop covers how to structure a resume, highlight transferable skills, write strong accomplishment statements, and present identity and experience with confidence. Participants will learn how to frame their story in a way that feels authentic, aligned, and compelling to employers—and will leave with a polished draft, practical tools for future updates, and the confidence to show up fully in their career narrative.

There is only space for up to 12 attendees, so reserve your free spot now.
