Federal Personnel Managers Group
A virtual therapeutic support group offered Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
This is a virtual therapeutic support group for federally employed managers who have had to deal with managing personnel decisions (i.e. have had to fire staff). This is an open group, which means there is no required start or end date, and people can attend as often (or as rarely) as they like. The group will be offered every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for at least four to six weeks, then we’ll assess whether the group needs to continue. The cost is $30 per session, which will be charged after each session attended.
The therapist facilitator(s) will work to ensure that this space is respectful and focused on people’s current difficulties. Discussion of politics will be limited, and only allowed in very narrow contexts.
Please note, we will do our best to protect the privacy of all group members. When you sign up as a client, you can pick a “Preferred Name” that will appear along with your camera image when you are online. We recommend that you enter a first initial, middle name, nickname, or other less identifying name. We also advise all group members NOT to discuss their department, agency, or other specific, identifying work details.
If you work as a manager but have not had to deal directly with implementing personnel decisions, you would probably most benefit from attending our Federal Employees Group.

(If you are already in our system as the parent/guardian of a minor client, we still need you to register as a new client, yourself, for this group.)
